Word Play – Home Education Day

A first for Word Play, we’ve pulled together a selection of authors for a day of Word Play fun to suit home educating families.

The day will include workshops with Poet Simon Mole, Author & Poet Clare Pollard and storyteller Ian Douglas. Mixed in between you’ll be able to take part in pre-recorded games & workshops with The First Cat In Space team Mac Barnett & Shawn Harris, as well as The Bear Out There illustrator / author Jess Hannigan.

Each ticket purchased includes a copy of the Word Play magazine.

The day will take place at How Brave Is The Wren bookshop
4 York Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7RZ

The shop will be closed for the day, providing a safe space for the workshops.This event is aimed to be suit a wide range of learning ages 5-12yrs, but all ages are welcome, parents/carers must accompany children throughout the day.

Tickets must be purchased per child aged 5 and over.
