Monthly creative workshops for 7-12 year olds 2pm – 3pm

1st Sunday of the month / 2pm – 3pm
Calling all budding creatives, we’re launching a monthly art club starting Sunday 5th October, suitable for ages 7-12 (older children allowed by request)
Each session focuses on a different artists or art technique but also includes drawing games and activities, nothing too serious we’re here to have fun and make just the right amount of mess. The price includes all materials, the individual workshops are:
Sunday October 6th – Collage – create your own fantastical narratives through the original cut and paste, no computers needed!!
Sunday November 3rd – Public Sculpture – design and make your fantasy sculpture for a public setting.
Sunday December 1st – Print Making – taking inspiration from artists Corita Kent we’ll be making banners of positivity using simple printing techniques.
The sessions are run by How Brave Is The Wren owner Jenny Moore, trained in Photography and general arts, i’ve been running an after school art club for Hall Green Junior School for the past 2 years.
The sessions are 1 hr long, children can be dropped off and left with us at the shop for the duration of the workshop.
NB we’re running this as a trial period, all being well we’ll post more bookings for 2025
