Creative writing workshops for young people aged 7-12 who enjoy writing and want to explore more, led by author (and Wren team-member) Catherine O’Flynn (Lori & Max books).

Each session will provide a supportive, creative environment with plenty of writing prompts, activities and tips to have fun with words, develop skills and build imagined worlds.

Each workshop will be a stand alone session, but will focus on different themes and skills. There will be opportunities for children to share work with the group but no obligation. The sessions will develop writing skills and abilities but the focus is on creative writing rather than spelling and grammar. No pressure, no assessments just time to enjoy and explore your own writing in small groups (maximum 15 people per session)

Workshops take place at How Brave is The Wren Children’s bookshop, the shop will be closed for the duration of the session to provide a safe environment.
