Calling ALL pet fans! You’re invited to Join Pia’s Pet Club with Serena Patel, author of the multi-award-winning Anisha, Accidental Detective series.

Serena will introduce you to Pia, a girl who loves pets, but isn’t allowed one of her own (maybe like you)! But Pia doesn’t give up easily and decides to help her friend Hari train his troublesome puppy, Luna. CHAOS ensues but Pet Club is formed along with Pia and Hari’s other friends from the block of flats where Pia lives with her dad.

Serena will tell you how a very long PowerPoint presentation from her son persuaded her family to get kittens Arlo and Bean and inspired the Pia’s Pet Club series. She will test your pet-based knowledge with a PAWesome quiz (do you know what percentage of the time cats spend sleeping?) and you’ll get the chance to create your own pet story character!

Copies of Pia’s Pet Club will be available to purchase on the day priced at £7.99, we will also have copies of Anisha Accidental Detective book series, you’re welcome to bring any of Serena’s books that you already own, along for signing.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, the shop will remain open throughout.
