Dinosaurium

Come inside the Dinosaurium, its doors are always open and there’s absolutely no chance that you can be eaten, promise. Find out how dinosaurs evolved, why did some have feathers and others have scales. Starting with a dinosaur family tree this books charts the evolution of dinosaurs and their reign over Earth for 175 million years.

Part of Big Picture Press’s impressive “Welcome to the museum” collection with gloriously detailed illustrations on every page, this one is definitely a keeper.

Maps

Take your small folk on an adventure around the world, go whale watching in Iceland, visit ruins in Greece and kayaking in Ecuador, all without leaving your room. Held within this book are 52 beautifully illustrated maps detailing not only geographical features and political borders, but also places of interest, iconic personalities, native animals and plants, local people and cultural events. Make sure you stop off in Finland to say hello to our favourite author Tove Jansson…also home to Santa Claus apparently!!
